While native to Georgia, grows extremely well in the Riverland. With its thick skin and dark rose coloured flesh, this variey lends itself to intense fruit flavours of juicy blackberry, mulberry and cherry with a lovely spicy edge. Mouth-coating tannins, softened with oak undertones, balance of flavour and acid allow you to enjoy a full-bodied wine true to variety and style. It displays the same flavour profile tasted in the vineyard. Recommended with pork belly, duck, lamb and beef.
