While native to Georgia, Russia, grows extremely well in the Riverland. With its thick skin and dark rose coloured flesh, this variety lends itself to intense fruit flavours with a lovely savoury edge. Mouth-coating tannins, softened with oak undertones, balance of flavour and acid allow you to enjoy a full-bodies wine true to variety and style. It displays the same flavour profile tasted in the vineyard. Recommended with pork belly, duck, lamb and beef.
