This property is situated 3km south of Barmera, in the Riverland. The vineyard is north facing and features deep sandy loam soil, an arid Mediterranean climate and an average rainfall of 210mm per year. The property which was purchased by Bruce and Val in 2000 was originally a 100 acre wheat farm. With the help of one of their son-in-law, Neil Bourton, the wheat farm was developed into a majestic vineyard consisting of Chardonnay, Shiraz and Viognier, surrounded with mallee and wildlife.
